​​​Lauren Ridder

Lauren Ridder is a classically trained soprano who is passionate about storytelling and delivering entertaining performances. She holds both a Bachelors of Music in Voice from Kwantlen Polytechnic University, and a Diploma in Musical Theatre from Capilano University. Lauren has spent many years singing various styles of music: Jazz standards with various jazz combos and big bands, including the Bruce James Orchestra, Popular repertoire by mainstream artists, as well as her own original material, and Musical Theatre, most recently in the musical Carrie, in the role of Margaret. Lauren has also competed in international musical competitions, including the Heritage Music Festival in Seattle, where she was awarded top vocalist. Lauren has worked with a number of theater groups and private students as a vocal instructor, and finds excitement in helping young artists to develop their passion for music, reach their goals, and unlock their potential.
